Romanian Welding Society
Romanian Welding Society is a non-governmental organisation and represents Romania in the EWF (European Federation for Welding, Joining and Cutting) and brings togheter the Romanian experts from the welding field. The organisation promotes the application in industrial practice of the modern processes of welding (technologies, equipment, materials), the standardisation at the international level and health, safety and environmental management in welding.

The GAZODUCT project brings together a team of high-level experts with very extensive experience in the areas of the welded structures design, elasticity and plasticity theories, welding processes finite element analysis, heat transfer modelling, welding processes simulation, materials behaviour at welding, materials characterisation through optical microscopy and SEM, heat treatments, arc welding monitoring, welding equipments, innovative welding technologies development, ecological welding materials investigation, welding technologies/processes optimisation and NTD. These participants competences strongly match to the project objectives are suited to the tasks assigned to the consortium partners. The consortium reflects a balance of specific knowledge and experience of the partners to the projects objectives. This leads to a very good complementarity in terms of technical expertise and partners contributions.
